My Self-Illustrated Novel

For anyone who has seen Bram's latest novel, "The Child Thief" you can get an idea of what I mean by writing my own novel and illustrating it.
My current commission is the logo for the band Snake Bit. As you can imagine, the logo is a snake. Because I'm doing each and every scale of the snake it's a long project. I'm learning about drawing snakes and really enjoying it.

Recently I designed the logo for Phoenix's Muse - a Phoenix holding a paintbrush, crochet hook, and camera with a faerie in the negative space of the flame tail. It's a little detailed for your typical logo, but hell, I like it. Any thoughts on the logo guys?
